I am a young at heart DJ motivated solely by my passion for great music. I run the gigs by myself, meaning I personally see to your event. This means there is no price tag for a fancy agency. My mission statement: To deliver dynamic and talented DJ performances. I enjoy performing at weddings, corporate functions and primary school discos whilst delivering top quality sound & lighting to transform any party.
When it comes to your wedding, corporate function or party in general, you must know that entertainment will be the one thing your guests remember most about the night. A good question to ask might be: When was the last time you heard someone comment on the cake they ate at their last party? There is a slight chance this might happen, assuming that party had an average standard of reception entertainment, right? My advice to you would be: Never put to chance the success of your reception or party. Leave the practicalities to me. I will communicate with you about your music tastes and plans, ask if you would like me to be your MC, plus take any special requests or attire suggestions. Please view some of my testimonies.
Being in the business and working alongside other DJ’s I have carefully chosen my setup from PA systems to turntables. Sound clarity and bass dynamics are the two most important aspects that make the difference between guests listening to background music and them actually dancing to the music! I use top-quality USA export Mackie speakers, packing a punch at any small to medium-sized venue. Included in any standard booking I bring along a laptop running Serato mixing software, a tidy stomach-height DJ desk, a high quality digital wireless microphone, plus a NS7 Numark turntable. Standard bookings are for up to 5 hours. I do free mileage within the following Auckland area boundaries: North- Albany Village, South- Papakura, West- Titirangi, East- Howick & Whitford. Additional mileage and expenses (such as accommodation) may be charged if the venue is outside these boundaries or is situated on an offshore island (such as Waiheke**). One hour setup prior to starting is standard practice. Earlier setup can be arranged but is an extra service and will incur an extra cost. If parking fees apply these will be forwarded to the client. **The nature of Waiheke bookings is subject to car ferry availability and vacancy on the island. These costs will trend higher during NZ public holidays and peak season months (eg. December-March). For this reason please enquire early.
